A Soprano from Riverview, Florida, Lauren has been seen in such roles as Casilda in Gilbert and Sullivan's The Gondoliers, Lauretta in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, Natalie (Valencienne) in Franz Lehar's The Merry Widow, Annina in Verdi's La Traviata, Adele in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, Lady Psyche in Gilbert and Sullivan's Princess Ida, Pitti Sing in Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, Belinda in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Marcelline in Beethoven’s Fidelio, Papagena in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, and Kate in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance.
In 2019, she debuted the role of Signe in the World Premier of Anton Coppola’s Lady Swanwhite with Opera Tampa and, even more recently, sang the role of Emma Borden in the Florida premiere of the opera Lizbeth. A prize winner at the National Association of Teachers of Singing competitions and recipient of the Anne Roselle Vocal Award, the prestigious Presser Foundation Scholarship, and the President’s Scholar award, Lauren holds a B.M. from Florida Southern College.
She can be seen performing with companies including The Imperial Symphony Orchestra, the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, Opera Tampa, Opera Orlando, New Century Opera, Miami Lyric Opera, and St. Petersburg Opera. Lauren is currently a private student of Dr. Jeremy Hunt and is completing a M.M. at the University of South Florida with Dr. Kyoung Cho.
